Living well

Be an active part of things

Retirement isn’t about slowing down - but rather about doing more of the things we’ve always loved to do, right? We’ve seen first hand the sense of pride and purpose that comes from continuing to be a part of the community. So at Arvida we’re breaking the mould of traditional retirement living and we’re promoting communities that offer great ways to stay engaged.

Bethlehem Country Club offers exclusive, architecturally designed homes with light-filled open plan interiors, great indoor-outdoor flow and landscaped gardens positioned to capture the sun. Homes provide generous, private outdoor space and grouped to form vibrant neighbourhoods where micro communities can be socially supportive.

The Bethlehem Country Club Clubhouse is open to all residents, their families and friends. The Clubhouse includes bar, library, dance floor and shared spaces for events and parties. There is also a heated pool, gym, bowling green, croquet lawn, mini putting green and outdoor barbeque area, which is a fun and social heart of the village. And if you feel like meeting friends for a morning coffee, take a short stroll next door and visit the Club House café at Bethlehem Shores.

Whatever your passion, we’ll embrace it! If you love quilting or craft, you’ll have the perfect community in which to share your creativity and ideas. Whatever your passion, the idea is to do more of it and to share it with others of all ages!

Bethlehem Country Club & Arvida

What does it mean to be a part of an Arvida community?

Bethlehem Country Club is an Arvida Community, which means we are fully immersed in the attitude of living well! To help you feel younger for longer and actively engaged in life, we embrace the ‘attitude of living well’, which focuses on five key elements.

Eating well

We encourage our residents to enjoy a diet of nutritious, appetising, high quality food.

Moving well

We encourage you to continue engaging in your choice of movement to support mobility, balance, flexibility and strength.

Resting well

We recognise the importance of rest and relaxation and the benefits of an environment of calm.

Thinking well

We recognise the importance of providing opportunities to engage your mind and value what your life experiences and knowledge bring to our village.

Engaging well

We encourage engagement with family, friends, and local community, as well as an active involvement in personal interests to bring you a sense of meaning and purpose.
